Tickets

Standard tickets allow entry to the whole weekend, including all workshops and evening dances, and access to all facilities and tea/coffee/water in breaks.

Supporter tickets offer no extras, other than a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Indoor camping tickets are free, but do not claim one if you will not need it. Only space on the floor is given, you'll need to bring a sleeping bag. There will be a storage room.

Day tickets include entry to the evening dance. Single day food tickets are not available.

Food tickets include Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch.

Ticketed Food

If you have a food ticket you are entitled to lunch, dinner and breakfast, regardless of whether you are indoor camping.

Breakfast and lunch will be cold buffet food, dinner will be a hot meal (vegetarian). We cannot guarantee to meet all dietary requirements: contact us to discuss. We will have some gluten-free and vegan options - there is a requirements survey sent out close to the event.

There are no child-specific food provisions; facilities will be available for baby-feeding

2026 Menu:

Saturday Breakfast: Cereal, toast, croissants, fruit

Saturday lunch: Sandwiches, fruit and crisps

Saturday Dinner: Vegetable Lasagne

Sunday Breakfast: Cereal, toast, croissants, fruit

Sunday Lunch: Jacket potatoes with various fillings including cheese, beans, coleslaw.

What if I have dietary requirements? Stegastomp will send out a form to all ticket holders asking for dietary requirements, and we will work with our external caterers to make sure everyone is catered for.

Snacks and self-catered meals

Water, tea, coffee, squash and biscuits will be available to everyone attending. Ice-creams and late night cheese are also open to all.

If you do not buy a food ticket, you must bring your own food for meals. Fridge space is limited at Harbury Village Hall and is priortised for catered food. If there is any space in the fridge, then it will be available at the organisers discretion. We cannot guarantee the use of the kitchen for any food preparation during or directly before/after mealtimes.

We are not permitted to sell alcohol, though you may bring some in yourselves for personal consumption. Any disruptive alcohol-related behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

Please DO NOT bring any oranges or orange juice to Stegastomp as one of the organisers is highly allergic.

Dances

All dances and workshop will be called and taught using non-gendered role terms.

There will only be one stream of activities between 1900-2330 Friday, 1000-2359 Saturday and 1000-1630 Sunday.

There are no specific family/child events.

Space will be available for non-dancers or people who want some time out, still to be confirmed.

Organised evening dances finish at 2200 on Friday and 2300 on Saturday, this will be followed by a free-form dance/session (feel free to bring instruments). Due to indoor camping, "late-night" sessions will not be permitted.

Stewarding

Rather than relying on a small number of stewards, Stegastomp has adopted an "everyone chips in" approach. You should expect to get involved in a couple of tasks during the weekend, if you are able to.

There will be a sign-up sheet on arrival. This includes things like moving tables, helping serve food, washing up after breakfast, sitting on the front desk, etc. You can also sign up to "lead" tasks which can involve coordinating meal times or cleaning.

If you have bought a food ticket, it is especially helpful to help out with meal time tasks. It's no fun if our self-catering attendees to have to serve food that they cannot eat!

There will always be a “venue manager” wearing the dinosaur hat. Please direct urgent questions to them.

Generally, nearly everyone gets involved in clearing up the hall at the end of the weekend. This means we spend extra time clearing up after Sunday lunch before the final workshop. Then we do a final sweep of the hall after the workshop and anyone who can stay and help pack down is greatly appreciated. At the very end of the weekend, Stegastomp "survivors" dance a final chappeloise before heading home.

Photography

Photography and video recording are permitted. If you do not wish to be photographed, tell someone in charge, and we will work to avoid it.
